How we use your data

πŸ—“οΈ Running the service

To show you drops, let you join experiences, manage your profile, and send you relevant notifications about drops you're part of.

πŸ”’ Safety & moderation

To review flagged content, enforce our content rules, and protect all users β€” especially younger ones.

πŸ’³ Payments

Fritzi is completely free and we do not currently take any payments from anyone. In the future we may offer paid listings for businesses and venues. If we do, payments would be handled by our payment provider Stripe β€” we would never store or see your card details β€” and we will update this policy before that begins.

πŸ› οΈ Improving Fritzi

To analyse usage patterns (in aggregate, not individually) to improve features and fix bugs.

πŸ“§ Communications

To send you transactional emails (password reset, drop reminders). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in. Our optional newsletter (signup on the website or via the checkbox at registration) is delivered through MailerLite and can be unsubscribed with one click in every email.

πŸ”” Push notifications

If you allow notifications, we store a push token to alert you about new drops, joins, and chat messages. You can switch notifications off anytime in your device settings β€” the token is removed when you delete your account.

πŸ“¬ Contact form responses

To reply to venue claim requests, creator collaboration applications, and business inquiries submitted via fritzi.app. Form data is stored by Netlify (our form processor) and is not used for any other purpose.

04

Legal basis for processing

Under the GDPR and Swiss nDSG, we process your data on the following legal bases:

Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
