Fritzi is a Swiss app that connects people through real-world experiences. We collect only what we need to run the service. We never sell your data. Teens (16–17) have extra protections. You can delete your account and all data at any time.
Fritzi is operated by Fritzi AG, a company registered in Switzerland. Our registered address is Zurich, Switzerland.
For the purposes of Swiss data protection law (nDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Fritzi AG is the data controller.

We collect the minimum data necessary to provide the Fritzi service.

We do not collect precise GPS coordinates, sell your data to advertisers, or track you across other apps or websites.
To show you drops, let you join experiences, manage your profile, and send you relevant notifications about drops you're part of.
To enforce our age separation between teens and adults, review flagged content, and protect all users — especially minors.
To manage your subscription via our payment provider Stripe. We never store or see your payment card details.
To analyse usage patterns (in aggregate, not individually) to improve features and fix bugs.
To send you transactional emails (password reset, drop reminders). We do not send marketing emails without your explicit opt-in.
To reply to venue claim requests, creator collaboration applications, and business inquiries submitted via fritzi.app. Form data is stored by Netlify (our form processor) and is not used for any other purpose.

All providers are bound by data processing agreements and are required to maintain appropriate security standards.
We may disclose data to law enforcement if required by law or to protect the safety of our users, particularly minors.
Fritzi takes the safety of young users extremely seriously. We operate a strict separation between teen accounts (ages 16–17) and adult accounts (18+). Teen content is never visible to adults, and adult content is never visible to teens.
The minimum age to use Fritzi is 16 years old. We verify age during signup using date of birth and reject any user under 16.
If you believe a minor under 16 has created an account, please contact us immediately at safety@fritzi.app and we will remove the account promptly.

Under Swiss nDSG and GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete data. Most data can be updated directly in the app settings.
Delete your account and all associated data. Available in app under Settings → Delete Account.
Receive your data in a machine-readable format. Email privacy@fritzi.app to request a data export.
Object to processing based on legitimate interests. We will stop unless we have compelling grounds.
Request that we limit how we use your data in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@fritzi.app. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or your local supervisory authority.
The Fritzi mobile app does not use cookies. Our website (fritzi.app) uses only essential cookies required for the site to function (e.g. your language preference). We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics that profile individual users.
We do not display ads. Fritzi is a subscription-funded product — we have no financial incentive to harvest or monetise your data.
Fritzi is based in Switzerland and primarily processes data within the EU/EEA through our infrastructure provider (Supabase on AWS Frankfurt). Some data may be transferred to the USA (for Netlify, Stripe, Apple, and Google services).

In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority within 72 hours as required by law.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you via the app or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. The "Effective" date at the top of this page will always reflect the current version.
Continued use of Fritzi after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
